J. Philippe Blankert

J. Philippe Blankert is a Dutch polymath with expertise spanning multiple disciplines. Over the course of his career, he has navigated fields such as finance, engineering, quantum mechanics, quantum computing, HR, and the collaboration between quantum and classical (binary) computers. Notably, he developed middleware to facilitate communication between the two—see BQM.ai.

More recently, he has ventured into novel writing, adding fiction to his repertoire. His works, both technical and literary, can be found on this site.

Born in 1964, Blankert holds a degree in civil engineering from the Technical University of Delft. With decades of experience, he has cultivated a broad, interdisciplinary perspective—a “helicopter view” — which he now channels into writing. His motto, “Ad doctrinam et delectationem”, Latin for “for learning and amusement,” reflects his passion for crafting books that both educate and entertain. His goal is to bring knowledge and joy to readers while equipping them for the future.

Now in early retirement, he fully dedicates himself to writing, seeing it as both his passion and purpose. Expect many more books to come—each one an effort to contribute meaningfully to the world.
